The Evaluation Report will be available in due course.
Their greatest asset is the empathy of their local infrastructure of volunteers and staff, which they’ve built in the 20+ years they have been active in the area. Through their integrated programme of activities and services, they aim to reduce health inequalities by helping people build their knowledge and resilience to manage their own health and well-being.
They are based at Darnall Primary Care Centre on Main Road in Darnall.
Darnall Wellbeing x SY-NC goals
Our partnership will strive to positively change young people’s lives, especially those not in education, employment or training (NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET, exploitation, gang affiliation or crime.
We will help young people meet their full potential by building communication skills, confidence, resilience and self-efficacy, encouraging different pathways. We’ll do this through sports and crafts and by providing opportunities to socialise/work in a safe environment within community spaces. We will also address digital exclusion and provide support around employment, training and education and community leadership.
We’ll also provide support for mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and trauma, and support for people experiencing domestic abuse, substance misuse, self-harm, and criminal or sexual exploitation.
